**We have begun doing Pistol Permit Fingerprints, by appointment only.
To schedule an appointment, please go to the Pistol Permit Appointment Calendar, located HERE**
**NOTICE** As of October 1, 2023, NRA Class Certificates are only VALID for two years from the date issued**
**Expired NRA Certificates will NOT be accepted**
You must have all of your paperwork ready to submit, along with the check when you arrive for fingerprinting
Other Applications and Forms
Fingerprints for Job Applicants and Southington BOE Employees:
You need to be a Southington Resident or applying for a job within the Town of Southington (i.e. Southington B.O.E., Southington YMCA, a Day Care located in Southington) to have your fingerprints done at the Southington Police Department.

All others, please contact your local Police Department.
Please ensure that your application is complete. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Once your application has been completed and approved, the Special Investigations Unit will process the application in a timely manner.
