The Support Services Division is the largest area within the Administrative Section of the Southington Police Department. The Support Services Division is made up of both uniformed sworn police officers and non-sworn civilian employees.

The Support Services Division is made up of one (1) Master Sergeant, two (2) Sergeants, four (4) Patrol Officers, and eight (8) Civilian Employees. The Support Services Division in Commanded by Lieutenant Keith Egan.

The organizational role of the Support Services Division is far reaching, complex and fluid. The groups that make up the Support Services Division are; Court Liaison and Evidence, Department Training and Certifications, Crime Prevention and Community Outreach, School Security, Traffic Studies and Fleet Management, Records Retention and Dissemination, Animal Control, Building Maintenance, Professional Standards and Accreditation, Information Technology and Public Relations.

The people that make up the Support Services Division work individually and collectively as needed to provide, assistance, information and support to the all members of the Southington Police Department and the Southington Community.
